Incy Wincys Pre-School aims to make our provision accessible to children and families from all sections of the community. Our admissions policy operates in conjunction with our Valuing Diversity and Promoting Equalities Policy to ensure that it is applied in a fair and unbiased manner.

Children may attend our Pre-School when they reach 2 years of age. A child can remain with us until the term before their 5th birthday or starting school.

We arrange our waiting list in birth order, with the eldest children taking priority. Our policy may also take into account siblings already attending the Pre-School and the length of time a child has been on the waiting list. Having said that we try to accommodate each child on the date asked for.

No more than 20 children may attend at any one session.

We are flexible about attendance patterns to accommodate the needs of individual children and families, but ask that children attend for a minimum of two sessions per week. This is to ensure that children benefit from continuity and stability in their learning environment.

Morning Session: 9.15am – 12.15pm   -    £18.20

Lunch Club: 12.15pm – 1.00pm   -              £6.50 (packed lunch)

Afternoon Extension Session: 1.00pm – 2.45pm   -   £10.65

Any child attending an afternoon extension session must attend lunch club.



We accept all forms of Government funding (FEET, 15 hrs and 30 hrs) for eligible 2, 3 and 4  year olds.

Incy Wincy's Pre-School fees are a competitive rate in order to maintain a sustainable and well equipped pre-school setting.  (see above).  Any combination of attendance can be requested We will try our best to accommodate you.


The standard session rate will apply to children from the age of 2 years, up until they qualify for Universal Funding. Universal Funding of up to 15 hours per week is available to all children the term after their third birthday. More details about Universal Funding can be found on this page.

  • Fees are due every half term in advance. Fees will be invoiced at the beginning of every half term.

  • Fees are payable in advance for all sessions, even if absence is due to illness or holidays.

  • If you wish to remove a child from our setting or want to reduce the number of sessions attended, parents/guardians must give at least 6 week’s notice of the change in writing. Fees will be payable (or grant claimed by us), until that date.

  • Fees are reviewed annually. We will provide notice of at least 1 terms notice if fees have to be increased for any reason.
